The Editors of Life present a fascinating, intriguing, special tribute to Sir Paul. This delightful edition is a birthday present to me from my daughter for my 64th birthday, which I love, and appreciate. For the new generation, it's history about the life and legend of the Beatles from the sixties, until now. However, to the eyes of a Baby-boomer who followed their footsteps from their first arrival in America, appearances on the Ed Sullivan show to the Greatest concert of a live performance at Shea Stadium in 1965 that I ever attended and will never forget, this 50 year tribute of now-and-then is a golden piece of treasure down 'memory lane.' Tickets to their concert at Shea was a Birthday gift to me from my cousins in Brooklyn, during my summer vacation. To this day, I remember the Excitement of their live performance, as I was in shock from the turn-out of thousands-upon-thousands of loyal fans.
Life once again Features inspiring photography, and thought-provoking commentary on Sir Paul as we hop into a time-machine and are taken back into the sixties, when it all began, with flash-backs of the 'Oldies But Goodies.' The incredible event in Shea Stadium still amazes me today, remembering 55,000 devoted fans cheering on the 'Fab Four.'
This enjoyable read will make millions of fans remember how the Beatles changed an era, how they made history, and changed the world. Their fame is deeply admired and respected, and their music will live on forever. Highly recommended for all Beatle fans, and readers who admire the accomplishments and achievements of the sensational Beatles.
