Über den Autor
Sandra Polley has had many years' experience with crafts, especially knitting and soft toy-making. She has a particular interest in making and collecting miniature teddy bears. She started to design her traditionally styled knitted bears about 2 years ago and now runs a successful small business selling her knitting patterns and kits worldwide. Her teddy bear patterns have recently been featured in the UK's 'Woman's Weekly' magazine.

a host of teddies!

This is an absolutely adorable book and a must for anyone wanting to knit a teddy. There's 18 patterns for bears of differing sizes and from the basic, with sew-on limbs and embroidered features, to the more complex with joints and button eyes.
I loved the sleepy bear, the black 'mourning bear' (these were given to survivors of the Titanic disaster apparently), the 'old bear' (similar to Steiff teddies) and the 1940s bear (with typical long body and short limbs of the era.)
With outfits to go with them, this is a really inspiring book!
