This is one of the best vampire novels I have read in a very long time. It has everything you need thrills, chills, blood, sex, and a few jokes thrown in for good measure. Most vampire novels that deal with romance take themselves too seriously, but not this one. These characters know how to live it up and have a meaningful (and realistic) relationship at the same time. Knight Predator tells the story of a young vampire who has a lovely young woman fall in love with her, and must struggle with not only her own feelings for this woman but with also the sadder aspects of eternal life (case in point: the death of beloved mortal friends). But thats not all, along with the romance we have adventure,mystery and lots of vampires fighting vampires (which is always a lot of fun!). Vampires are neither wimps nor are they impervious to everything (which makes things a little more interesting)and Ms. Falconer brings a couple of lovely new twists to vampire lore. All in all, this is a great novel which I would recomend to both my gay and straight friends alike. Trust me, I'm a vampire expert, you do not want to miss this book.
