This book should be a must for all parents. The author wrote it in defense of children, and to stop people from believing that all children do is manipulating adults and trying to come up with mischief. Everything is supported with research and arguments based on our evolutionary development and it is a strong case for the good in all children. Even the most understanding parent will probably be shocked at how many misconceptions are inherent in our society. But as always looking at nature and listening to our hearts and basic parental instincts could make many children's lives a lot happier. I am glad I came across this book when my son was only two months old, because it gives me the support and encouragement to raise my child with love and affection, which is something so often withheld from children because of the wrong assumption that too much love could spoil them. Thank you Carlos Gonzalez for this wonderful book.
