I'd been reading other perl/cgi books and didn't quite get when to use get/post. This explains headers in a very clear fashion as well as Sockets.
I haven't finished the part on LWP yet, but know that it will help my programming immensely.
The author's style is conversational while still instructive.
Once I finish, I'll go back and read the other CGI/Perl books. I have a feeling I'll get more out of them.

If you are looking for a book to explain what goes on behind-the-scenes on a web server or browser, this is a good book to get. Also, it covers the LWP Perl module very well. My only criticism is the price is a little high for 205 pages.

I really like the book and it is really easy to understand. However, the book repeats itself too often. The whole book can be condense to 100 pages and should cost around $20 at most.
