These are not your father's Elton John sheet music arrangements nor are they the "note-for-note" arrangements that are almost useless outside of a band setting. These are proper jazz(ish) piano solos that you can play and well represent Sir Elton's canon. "Don't Let the Sun Go Down On Me" is a fabulous gospelesque. arrangement and "Crocodile Rock" sounds worthy of Albert Ammons or Pete Johnson. "Tiny Dancer" and "Rocket Man" are done as diaphanous jazz waltzes and "Philadelphia Freedom" is a funk fest for the fists. Well done BE..
