Produktbeschreibungen
Die preisgekrönte Produktion Nicolas Lehnhoffs aus dem Jahre 1995 war eine der ersten Opern die in den Genuss kam, in dem grandiosen neuen Opernhaus Gyndebourne aufgeführt zu werden. Die schwarze Komödie von Janacek wurde mit tosendem Beifall aufgenommen. Höchste Würdigung erhielt auch die wunderbar singende Aktrice Anja Silja, die für diese Leistung mit dem Evening Standard Award ausgezeichnet wurde.
