Ryan Tubridy is an award winning television and radio presenter for RTE in Ireland. Currently, Tubridy presents 'The Tubridy Show' on RTE Radio 1 and is host of the 'Late Late Show', the world's longest running chat show. Since taking over in 2009 he has interviewed a number of international and acclaimed personalities from the Osbournes to Bertie Ahern and Jermaine Jackson. In the summer of 2009 Tubridy was named 'Dubliner of the Year' by The Dubliner.

A well written and highly detailed account of JFK's visit to the auld sod. Easy to read, lots of photos and supporting materials. At the same time, it wasn't just a dry account of the facts, it folded in historical references and the emotional response of the country to weave together a well rounded account of the trip.

This book was incredible. Amazing details of President Kennedy's trip to Ireland. This books extremely powerful. Seeing quotes from Kennedy saying he'd love to come back and realizing he'd be gone in a few months is powerful. The pictures in this book were incredible as well. Can't recommend this book enough.
