This is the latest addition to my Insight Guides collection and it's every bit as good as the rest. Chock full of detailed maps, beautiful color photographs and useful information printed on high gloss paper. Gorgeous.
Like the other guides, this one begins with an Introduction, then moves into History and Culture before turning to Places, which are organized into chapters by region, each with its own map. The guide ends at 322 pages with solid Travel Tips and an excellent Index. It's a format that works beautifully.
A first-rate value, these travel guides make for entertaining reading even if you aren't traveling in the near future.
