Rezension bezieht sich auf: Indra's Pearls: The Vision of Felix Klein (Gebundene Ausgabe)
als begeisterte Programmiererin fraktaler Grafik suchte ich nach weiteren Möglichkeiten. Im Mittelpunkt des Buches steht eine Technik mittels Möbiustransformation Grafik/Fraktal zu erzeugen.Um mit dem Buch etwas anzufangen, sollte man zumindest wissen was komplexe Zahlen sind. Die ersten Themen ( Transformationen, Schottky-Gruppen) sind noch relativ gut verdaulich. Nich auf alle abgebildeten Bilder des Buches wird thematisch genau eingegangen. Das gilt z.B. für die hyperbolischen Kreis-Limit-Darstellungen. Z.B. S382. Quintessenz: Für Grafikbegeisterte mit Mathematikkenntnissen ein Muß.
