I am not on a gluten free / wheat free / dairy free... or anything "free" kind of diet. But the Mediterranean mention in the title piqued my interest.

I have to say that after skimming through this book today, I can't wait to get stuck in. The recipes all appeal to my palate, but also my budget. In particular, the salads are extremely mouthwatering - although how you shred an egg I don't know *cough*.

This is a great little cookbook - and I have already recommended it to a number of friends. Best book I've downloaded this month so far.

All I need is a basil plant and some quinoa, and my life will be complete :o)

I am particularly excited for this book since more people are becoming exposed to the benefits of having a gluten free diet. It can also be sometimes very expensive to live on a diet, but this book provides healthy and cheap alternatives that you can find in your own backyard or local market. I love all the books in the Healthy Cookbook Series(they are all a must have), but I do believe this book is a real gem in a time when most people are part of the gluten free movement. The Author is incredibly creative to serve up delicious, easy to follow appetizers from salads to soups and main courses that are of 5 star restaurant quality and easy to prepare in the comfort of your own home. Try these recipes and see for yourself! I highly recommend this book

I was looking for something like this but even I could not imagine that many recipes addressed to the gluten free diets. Rich of proteins and vitamins, all different and delicious, fresh and simple. Great to have this book.

My favorite , Greek Salad with Avocado. A great recipe book with a varied selection of salads soups and main dishes..
I have hundreds of recipe books, but this one has more than most of recipes I want to try... Here's a selection...
Chicken soup (has black olives) something i definitely want to try, another is Spicy Carrot Soup. The Greek Chicken Casserole sounds yummy as does the Feta Cheese Stuffed Zucchini , Mishmash and the Baked Feta Cheese feta cheese. The only small disappointment is that it didn't have a table of content.

This is the best cookbook I've read on wheat-free recipes. The author Vesela Tabokava, who is an expert chef, shares numerous mouth-watering Mediterranean dishes which are healthy and based on completely fresh ingredients, with many using buckwheat and quinoa.

The cookbook contains recipes for starters including salads and soups, and main dishes such as stews, casseroles and kebabs. There are recipes in this cookbook for fans of chicken, beef, pork and fish, combined with a wonderful array of vegetables.

I highly recommend this cookbook. It is full of great ideas for healthy meals, for you, your family and parties you might host.
