Great for Corporate Finance

This guide fills an important need for corporate financial professionals deploying TM1 in reporting and planning activities. I wish we had this kind of comprehensive guide when we first deployed TM1 in a public company some years ago. We succeeded rolling TM1 out for basic financial reporting functions, but had to discover ways to extend its usefulness. That was a slower discovery process than it needed to be. This guide includes solid ideas and examples for putting TM1 to use, including all-important ways to support the senior management team through dashboards and scorecards. TM1 as a tool can transform the role of Finance in a company and this guide has everything needed to make that achievable.

Not for beginners with no development background

This book is the best guide for TM1 out there. It gives you a great understanding about SkipCheck, Feeders, Parallel Interactions and such that you don't find in the manuals found with the software.
Not yet half way through the whole book but I assume for a newbie it won't be any help...cause with how TM1 has evolved since the IBM acquisition...I would suggest go through a Development & Design Model training first then read this book.
Something to note though...Typo Error on Page 358...it support to be GRANT not GRAND.

Over 100 pages into the book and still have not figured it out....
Also, where are the samples from? Steps are provided to walk thru but can not find the sample TM1 to work with--sure would be helpful since instructions are not provided to build the demensions or cubes
More to come as I read on
