A lot of new mothers think that all that one can or must do with a tiny baby is to feed it, change its diaper, push it around in a strawler, comfort it when its crying and to love it. That's how I felt before I read the Glenn Doman books. Now I'm teaching my 2 kids to read and to do math. THEY LOVE IT! And I love it too! It is all done in a playful way and we always, always have fun. In fact, when I tell my daughter (2 1/2 years) 'let's do something fun' - she immediately says... 'let's do the reading or math cards then'. To kids, all learning is play and all play is learning. As mothers I believe that we want to make our children capable in surviving in this world. Teaching them to read does this... by being able to gain information from all that has ever been and will ever be written. How fantastic is that? Understanding how important the first 6 years of brain development is, what it's capable of, (and why waiting for them to be taught in school is actually too late), made me respect my children even more. Glenn Domans ways has brought us as a family even closer. To sum up, don't miss the oportunity... READ THIS BOOK! It has changed our lives for good.
A warning though - it may become really difficult to get your child out of a bookstore or library. ;)
