Here you find just everything you need to prepare yourself for any catastrophe, including describtions of likely catastrophes, many lists of items or skills you may need, explanation of how to back up water supply, food and anything else to survive. Keep in mind that this book is from the USA, so recommended places to live, websites for buying, laws and other things are not useful for me, because I live in Germany where are not so big wildernesses as in the US where you could hide. Also you would need a large land and thousands of money for all those water filters, food dehydrators or freeze-dryers, photovoltaic-stuff, trailers, generators, deposits of food, battieries etc. the author recommends, which is not possible for many people, especially they're not needed for everyone. For example I wouldn't spend to much money for firefighting-stuff, because I don't see a big risk for conflagaration, also you don't need big preparation if your house is made from stone or something. But it's so much better to cross out things you don't need for yourself than to do much additional research. This book is a great thing and you can use some of this knowledge in everyday life, for example if a power failure or water failure occurs, which can happen anytime.
