Connie Shelton is the author of the Charlie Parker mystery series, set in her hometown of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Her mystery series has garnered favorable reviews in major publications such as Booklist and Library Journal, and have been optioned by Hollywood. Shelton has been a commercial hot air balloon pilot and currently holds the women's world altitude record for size AX-4 balloons. She has been featured in Who's Who and The World Who's Who of Women. Besides writing the Charlie Parker mysteries, Connie is an award-winning essayist and has taught writing. Her work has been published in several anthologies, including Chicken Soup For The Writer's Soul, and her short stories have won several prizes.
