a great performance-I don't like all of Olivier's impersonations, but this one deems me just superb and that fact, that he had to reduce the play to 150 minutes, due to budget reasons, doesn't take anything from the impacto of the play. The blu-ray quality is quite fine, sharp and detailed, considering the year of production. Luckily my tv reduces the grain and film noise very reasonably. Sound is ok, but that's not what is so important here to me.
Anyway, much more impressive than Branagh's Hamlet, though this 4 hour play is also worth a buy.
