5.0 von 5 Sternen Practical guide that I recommend 1. August 2014
Von K. Allen - Veröffentlicht auf Amazon.com

There are a ton of study based references in this book which are given in bite size portions making the information easy to understand. A lot tips and advice I didn't hear from my doctor so when I went to my doc and asked about blood testosterone monitoring when supplementing DHEA she actually agreed with it.

A very practical guide that I highly recommend.

5.0 von 5 Sternen The incredible impregnable egg 4. August 2014
Von Chloe H - Veröffentlicht auf Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition|Verifizierter Kauf
Wow - there is so much to learn here. I had no idea that we started life with a certain number of eggs and 90% are diminished by the time you're 40. I had no idea there were simple hormone tests your doctor can do (just with a blood sample, no less) to determine your egg reserves. And that's just the beginning.

At some point in life, getting pregnant becomes more important to all of us, and for me it happened later because I had to get through a failed first marriage where something told me to wait. Now I'm with my true love, a man I actually want to have biological kids with, and I might not be able to. This book was so helpful for me in informing myself. Knowledge is power, and I was scared without it. I think every woman who reads this, no matter when she reads it first, will wish she'd found this book earlier in her life.

5.0 von 5 Sternen Conversational and Informational Guide to Egg Quality Over Thirty-Five 10. August 2014
Von E. Lucas - Veröffentlicht auf Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition|Verifizierter Kauf
“How to Improve Egg Quality” is a conversational and informational guide aimed at women over 35 who are trying to get pregnant.

The author points out early on that without healthy, viable eggs a baby can’t happen—but fertility rapidly decreases at a certain point in a woman’s life. However, I liked that the message of this book is that getting pregnant (probably) isn’t impossible at that point and that there are positive, healthy steps you can take to help your eggs.

The book covers a lot of topics, from figuring out your personal biological clock and ovarian reserve, to the benefits of a Mediterranean diet, to vitamins, and how to de-stress while waiting to get pregnant. (There’s also a summary of foods, supplements, and activities at the bag that puts everything in one place for easy reference.) I think for me the most interesting part of the book was the focus on the Mediterranean diet and its potential to increase egg health—while I had known of its overall benefits generally, I had never thought of it so specifically, or about why exactly it is such a healthy lifestyle.

“How to Improve Egg Quality” also uses scientific facts and studies, but the concepts are written clearly in everyday language so they’re easy to apply. I would recommend “How to Improve Egg Quality” to women thirty-five and older (and even those about to hit that age) who are trying to become pregnant and want to optimize their chances.

5.0 von 5 Sternen Great Information for Women Trying to Conceive 20. Januar 2014
Von Nina - Veröffentlicht auf Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition|Verifizierter Kauf
This book is an absolute gem when it comes to useful information on how to improve your chances to conceive even after the age of thirty. I bought this book because me and my husband have finally decided that now is the right time to expand our family, and I wanted to learn as much as I can about fertility and ways to conceive. We are both in our thirties, and just like in the book we have also put off having a child because there was always something else we wished to achieve before settling down and having a baby. This is definitely a trend in today’s society, where couples including me and many of my friends, put off having the first child until they are well into their thirties. But because of this many encounter difficulties conceiving in the natural way, which just prolongs the whole getting pregnant period.

This book is really well written and organized into sections, which explain in great detail the woman’s eggs, about ovulation, the right diet to improve your chances to conceive, and much more. I would highly recommend this book to anyone regardless of age, who is trying to get pregnant. I can’t wait to put what I have learned from this book into practice!

5.0 von 5 Sternen Extend the life and improve the quality of your eggs 4. August 2014
Von Buckeyegirl - Veröffentlicht auf Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition|Verifizierter Kauf
This book is incredibly packed with great information on how to boost your fertility by increasing the power of your eggs, There is so much on the market about male sexual performance enhancers and how to naturally improve testosterone, but there is little talk of what women in their 30s can do to boost fertility. Wagner has used her expertise in cell biology to give an formation otherwise hard to access. With everything from dietary advice, stress relievers, and communication tips, Darja has created a wonderful guide on how to turn our eggs into better baby makers. This is especially helpful for young women who want to wait for the right person or have a secure career before having children, which often takes some time. I will for sure use her tips when I settle down so that I can have a healthy pregnancy. At 23, many of my friends are having babies and it makes me wonder if I am missing the boat, but this book gives me reassurance that it is possible to get pregnant after 35, even if the odds seem stacked against you, which means I still have plenty of time.
