This is an excellent book for those who are not art experts but who enjoy knowing something about the artists. "The Kiss" is a well-known picture. This has just enough bio and pictures to make you want to read it. Not overwhelming! I sent this book (ordered from Amazon) to my sister and she loved it! (I had bought a shop-worn copy at a book store). ZM
