Great Trail Guide

This book is an excellent trail guide for the Knobstone Trail in Indiana. There aren't any books about this trail, which is the longest in the state. The guide covers a plethora of subjects concerning the trail, including flora and fauna. The book contains very nice color maps and beautiful color photographs. The history detailed in the book is very interesting and provides greater respect for the trail and for all the people who worked to create it. I especially liked how the edges of the book are rounded to allow for carrying in a pack without bending the corners. The book material is perfect for hiking with. This guide book is perfect for enhancing one's experience at Knobstone trail and I would definitely recommend it.

This book is very nicely produced. It is attractive, with nice pictures and a clean, modern design. It covers several aspects of the trail, including history, geology, and biology, plus the actual trail description. A must for any Hoosier hiker.
