Eyecandy pictures. Love looking at them before I go to bed so I can dream about the places and feel like I'm really there.
Right now they stand at my living room, decorating the place. I also love when my guests pick one of them and start looking, I can see they are thinking: "Ohhhh" This is amazing...!"

I cannot say enough good things about this series of guidebooks (for lack of a better term). Or maybe I should call it a directory of unusual and exotic locations to stay around the world.
Just flipping through the books makes you feel like you are discovering parts of the world that you have never seen. All the continents (well, almost - no Antarctica) are covered. There some incredible places to stay around the world and sites to be seen. And you wouldn't come across these by using Google.
The printing quality is excellent - color photographs galore. It is part picture book and part travel resource. For the price, I can't imagine that they made a penny based on the expense of printing, although maybe they were able to supplement the cost from some of the resorts and locations depicted (although I doubt it ... in no way do any of the books feel like an advertisement).
For an unusual set of books AND a nice travel resource, I absolutely recommend getting this set. Happy trails!
