For most english speaking audiences, the types of ideas presented by Negri in this book will be both refreshing and thought-provoking. He addresses not only how one should think of many of the events from the Cold War to present, but also poses many striking critiques of socio-political factions that are often times represented as "Left". For those who find his more theoretical work dense and incomprehensible, the interview format gives Negri the opportunity to flesh out the historical/material conditions and bases for arguments he may make elsewhere in much more philosophical terms.
