Synopsis

I read this book when I was younger and it was ok and the whole little six part series was ok. Then I got into the adult books (WAY BETTER!) and noticed that they have no continuity with each other. After having read many SW books now and am familiar with the SW timeline, I have concluded that every SW book fits in to the timeline except for this series. Therefore, it should be burned and forgotten about. Lucasfilm made a terrible mistake in publishing these. Not only do they contradict all the other novels, their stories aren't anywhere near as good as the others. Do yourself a favor and don't ruin your perception of the SW universe with these. Go out and read the adult books like the Thrawn Trilogy by Timothy Zahn. You can read any other kids books too, but don't read the six in this series. They aren't even included in official timelines anymore. They don't truly belong in the Star Wars universe. I feel sorry for the authors, though. They tried, but I guess they didn't know what was going to happen to these stories.

This book, and all of the series, was porly writen , and made me think that the author didn't do any research at all. I wouldn't recommend this book to anyone, or the rest of the series.

This is a great book, but it just doesn't fit in with all the other novels and shorter books in the star wars universe. For one, the Mon Calamari world is called MON CALAMARI in Crisis at Crystal Reef, but here it is called just CALAMARI. Also, when did Han build a sky house in Cloud City? SPIN? Who are they? The beginning of the Senate? Oh well, either read it or don't.

This is the best Star Wars I have ever Read.
This is a book for young adults. Not for Grown men and Women. It has a great story line. Every Star Wars fan should have it.

It's good but you have to read the rest of the series.
I loved the whole series, but this first one wasn't my favorite. The glove search was exciting, but the rest of the series is better. This is for 2nd-4th graders.
