I would first like to start this by stating that I love books! I am currently a nursing student and want to pursue geriatrics/hospice nursing. I have used a few geriatric books but this one is by far the best yet! she covers a very broad array of topic areas pertaining to the geriatric population. This is also a very "tech" savvy book. She consistently quotes popular websites for further information. Another amazing thing about this book is the incredible diagrams/pictures. I have learned about a TURP but have never seen a diagram or picture of it. This book really explained what a TURP was and the picture was amazing in describing how it works. These are just the very start of list of positive qualities of this book. This book covers topics from interdisciplinary team and history of geriatric nursing to theories of geriatric nursing.
So far I have found nothing of a negative quality about this book. I would definitely recommend to students and faculty.
