I'm totally hooked on the Women's Devotions to Go series, including Fruit Lovers' Devotions to go. The book tackles two struggles women face--nutrition and niceness. Let's face it, we all struggle to prepare healthy meals for ourselves and our family and when we're shuttling kids to and from soccer practice, putting together birthday parties, paying the bills and for some of us, working full-time, it can be tricky to be well-mannered day in and day out. That's where this book comes in handy.
Full of 30 devotions that touch on many physical and spiritual aspects of fruit, you'll be inspired to live a fulfilling, abundant life. Each devotion begins with a short bible verse, a devotion that relates fruit to life, a short prayer, and a fruit-based recipe.
I found it fascinating how Beth Bence Reinke could find so many inspirational stories from fruit and remind us to make someone feel loved today or look to Jesus for our hope and confidence for the future. The recipes are super simple to make and oh, so yummy. Ever heard of pink applesauce or fruity oatmeal cookies? Definitely check this one out.
