Über den Autor
Kathleen B. Hass, PMP is the Project Management and Business Analysis Practice Leader for Management Concepts. She has more than 25 years of experience in project management and business analysis, managing large, complex projects in the airline, telecommunications, retail, and manufacturing industries and in the U.S. federal government. Lori Lindbergh, PMP has over 17 years experience in managing complex health service projects, process development, and project office integration and management. She is responsible for the application of project management processes and methodologies supporting organizational performance improvement in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, information technology, and other industry sectors. Richard Vander Horst, PMP works for Wegmans Food Markets in the Information Technology Area, and has been with the company for over 17 years. Currently he is responsible for the Project Support Services Group whose main responsibilities revolve around Business Analysis, Project Management, and Portfolio Planning Support activities. Kimi Ziemski, PMP is an experienced project account manager and marketing professional. Ms. Ziemski has more than 20 years of experience in project management, including experience in product development, account management and management, business process reengineering, organizational development, technology deployment, project management training, mentoring, and team building.

I felt this book was subpar. The book felt like an advertisement for the Business Analsis Essential Library as topics are frequently referenced as being in other book and not explain within this book.
The book didn't focus enough on practical. What are practical steps to take to step into the leader role. The book also spent an entire chapter on Centers of Excellence. It's obvious this was a topic of great interest to the
author(s). Instead, it would have been good to have a chapter that provided brief overviews of different analyst roles (Financial, Security, Data, System, Support, etc.).

I have been reading a chapter at a time and there is a lot of great information provided in this book for someone who wants to advance their leadership value as a Business Analyst.
