Stephanie's back and better than ever with Four to Score, a funny, sexy romp through Trenton, New Jersey. Stephanie Plum, bounty hunter from hell, is on the trail of Maxine Nowicki, who forgot about her court appearance and jumped bail. In the process of tracking Maxine down, she uncovers murderers, counterfeiters and a fire bomber. Unfortunately, Stephanie's apartment is at the top of the fire bomber's hit list and she moves in with Joe Morelli. Now the fun really begins. As always, Ms Evanovich fills her story with quirky, wacky characters that just add to the fun and we get to see a lot more of the Plum and Morelli families. The writing is smart and down to earth and Ms Evanovich has a wonderful ear for dialogue. You'll laugh out loud at the antics of this fine cast. Do yourself a favor, start with One for the Money and read the whole series. Ms Evanovich doesn't disappoint.

I happened upon a Janet Evanovich book quite by accident, but after reading it, I was so happy I had. This is the 4th installment of the adventures of quazi-bounty hunter Stephanie Plum and her wacky assortment of relatives and friends, and in my humble opinion, the best yet. Stephanie will keep you constantly amazed as she stumbles in and out of trouble, forever aided by the hapless Joe Morelli. I found myself laughing outloud at the exploits of Stephanie, Lula, Grandma Mazur and their new crossdressing friend Sally. One thing that makes this book such a good read is the way that Evanovich is able to sprinkle humor throughout the story, giving some of the best lines to Grandman Mazur. We are also finally able to breathe a sigh of relief as Stephanie and Joe get closer and closer, it's about time!!! I can't wait for the next installment. It's a book that you won't be able to put down but might drop because you are laughing so hard!

Janet Evanovich has outdone herself. Bounty-hunter Stephanie Plum and cop Joe Morelli are beginning to edge out Laura Holt and Remington Steele in my affections. While the sparks that normally fly around this couple turn into steam Old Faithful would envy, the reader can become re-acquainted with Grandma Mazur (who always gets the best lines) and Lula and be introduced to a tunnel-visioned transvestite named Sally Sweet. If you are a fan of Ms. Plum and her entourage, DO NOT WAIT to read this book. It is every bit the equal of "One For the Money," and well worth the money. This is probably the funniest book I'll read this year. And I'm already craving my next Plum fix...

I wasn't disappointed.
I've read each book in this series so far and have yet to be disappointed. Each has been as terrific as the next. The only time I'll have a problem is if the series ends.

A very enjoyable ride
