Ayn Rand's philosphy is correct, and beautiful, if you will, in that it speaks for the indivdual and for self-motivation. It also speaks against all principles which I identify as Communism, Socialism and Dictatorships, all of which I hate with a passion. However, in standing up for the indivdual, she also speaks for selfishness, which, like the power if Socialism, corrupts anyone, brings them to hatred in the eyes of peers and in the eyes of many religions. More than anything, though, Ayn Rand's For the New Intellectual makes you think, and you come up with your own profound philosphy on ego and the indivdual, a philosphy which will touch your life deeply, and hopefully, the lives, the souls, around you.

Any "objectivists" that attempt to justify their existence by "fighting" for objectivism, that allow themselves to become so-called "crusaders", are even more vile and wretched than those they claim to despise. All their lives they long for something to give their existence justification, something they can FIGHT for. Its a fleeting, sickening mess, you are the people that give objectivism a bad name, and i only wish that Rand could have seen what filth she produced. I can only suggest this book to the other half of Randian Objectivists, those with ideas and thoughts of their own, not violent, sadistic, and DESTRUCTIVE imbeciles.

Some so-called Objectivists will tell you that "true Objectivists" shouldn't focus on getting rid of second-handers.

Sure - and some doctors will tell you that you shouldn't focus on getting rid of disease. And I suppose some exterminators will tell you that you should learn to live with cockroaches, lice, and other such living scum.

Don't you believe it. These people just want to water down Objectivism until it's a tame, detached, academic philosophy just like all the rest - nonthreatening, peaceable, and NICE. Nothing to be afraid of - Objectivists have "something to offer." (What altruist-collectivist nonsense! As though Objectivists have to justify their existence by OFFERING something!)

The process by which this watering-down occurs is called COMPROMISE. And Ayn Rand shows clearly that when good compromises with evil, it's evil who wins.

Ignore these self-appointed spokesmen for the only truly rational philosophy every discovered. If you haven't read Ayn Rand already, buy this volume and step into the full sunlight.

Leave the second-handers, evaders and compromisers to the DEATHS they so richly deserve.
