I am planning on going to Buenos Aires soon and I am so glad to have stumbled upon this book.
It's not a typical tour guide which lists tons of information on what to do and how to get there but a colorful mix of great photography, personal experiences and descriptions of the places they enjoyed visiting. To me reading this book felt like having two friends telling me about their favorite city. They cover the typical 'must-see' attractions as well as lots of interesting spots that you might have missed otherwise.
The book also features a comprehensive list of restaurants and bars. It is obvious that Jürgen and Michael are both great food lovers as all the dishes are described affectionately and detailed, accompanied by mouth-watering photos.In fact this is what makes 91 days in Buenos Aires so great. Vivid descriptions and stunning photos complete each other and somehow manage to really capture the feel of the place.

The two different indexes (one by date, one by category) make it easy to find the information you are looking for, links to their blog and the websites of the places mentioned complete the e-book and provide additional information.

I'd recommend buying this book to anyone who plans on visiting Buenos Aires as well as to those who are yet not sure whether they want to go there or not. Chances are high that after reading this book you'll be frenetically searching for a cheap plane ticket to Argentina.

We're planning a trip to Argentina later this year and have been trying to find a book that went beyond the standard "guide book" lists. And we found it with this book. A personal and at times quirky accounting of the authors favorite things to do and eat and see while they lived in Buenos Aires for 3 months. We've previously read their 91 days in Savannah book which we loved. As in that book and on the author's blog, the photography is superb and reveals the City in a way standard guidebooks do not. I like that the book is a kindle edition where on my Kindle Fire I can easily click on links to their blog and to websites for restaurants and museums. Very well done.
