For example Aerofilms has been recording the evolution of Wembley Stadium from its original construction in the early 1920s through to the emergence of the new ground. It can also trace the development of Arsenal's Highbury Stadium, showing the building of the classic East and West stands. From this impressive archive, the book shows photographs portraying many of the varied football grounds in the Greater London area. It concentrates on the Metropolis league grounds, both those currently in use and those, which have been lost.
