I got this book when it was free, and finally had time to look at it. I appreciate the table of contents and the good pictures, there does seem to be a good variety of healthy recipes. But on closer inspection, there are a few obvious typos.

The first one I found was for "Fitness Foods Egg and Veggie Breakfast Casserole." Step 03 in directions says "Makes eight whole eggs..." it should have read "mix eight whole eggs." Pretty obvious what it should be, but typos in cookbooks can be disasterous. My husband found a typo at a quick glance in a granola recipe. Honey was an ingredient, but there was no direction in how or when to add it.

Because of these obvious typos within a 15 minute look through, I decided to "close" this book and not use it. There could be less obvious typos that I wouldn't realize were there until making and trying the recipes. A little more time with some more proof readers, recipe testers, etc. could've made a big difference in the reliability of the cookbook.

The recipes in this book seem fine, but I certainly do not approve of the author using the phrase "Weight Watchers" in the title and over and over in the product description in order to sell her book.

The original name is Weight Watchers Points Plus Easy & Delicious Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Recipes and it can still be found under that name in an Amazon search. If you have questions about Trademark Infringement, rather than blast me with a string of comments demanding how I know, please avail yourselves of the handy search box in your browser, type in "trademark infringement" and educate yourself.

If you are following the Weight Watchers program, you should be aware that this book is not a legitimate Weight Watchers product, as Gloria Elizabeth Livingston clearly states clearly states on the first page of Weight Watchers Points Plus, Fast and Delicious Breakfast Lunch and Dinner Recipes (Fitness Foods), "Weight Watchers Points Plus is a registered trademarks (sic). This book is not affiliated with them in any way."

Because this book is based on the "author's recollections" rather than specific Weight Watcher's guidelines and approval, it cannot be relied on.
