"Fifty More Places To Fly Fish Before You Die", Santella follows his proven formula - interviewing fly-fishing experts about some of the world's most intriguing angling venues and adventures. These include many of the fly-fishing world's 'next big things', including: San Diego for mako sharks, Bolivia to sight cast for golden Dorado, flats-style striper fishing in Maine's Casco Bay, nocturnal sea trout angling in Wales and giant mahseer in the Himalayan foothills of India. Place descriptions and angling tales are accompanied by brilliant colour photos by some of the world's most celebrated angling photographers and each chapter includes enough 'If You Go' information to help the reader embark on the fishing trip of a lifetime.

We learn from the bio on the back flap that author Chris Santella is also a marketing consultant.
It shows, as his "Fifty Places" series has grown to include Hike, Play Golf, Dive, Go Birding, Sail, and others. Now along comes the beginning of the Fifty More franchise with Fifty More Places to Fly Fish Before You Die as well as Fifty More Places to Play Golf Before You Die.
At this rate we'll never die...
Anyway, the formula works, even though it's more of the same.
These destinations are exotic, clearly off the beaten track, and fun to read about on cold winter evenings when the real thing seems very far away.
