Just a quick note to praise this collection's virtues rather than complaining about what it isn't.
This is part of a series of arrangements of arias, overtures, and incidental music from various operas. These are not excerpts from vocal scores. If you are someone like me who enjoys playing through transcriptions of operatic material familiar and not-so-familiar, this volume offers a good mix between the very commonly encountered selections from "Carmen" and "Faust" and the less frequently heard snippets of Lully and Rameau. For a moderately talented pianist there are no great difficulties. Approximately 100 pages, print is nice and clear. Well worth the modest price, even if you can't find a cheap used copy.
