The author enables the reader, after much background analysis, to assign a personal risk rating for age, diet, exercise, cholesterol, and family history. I was able to find out that given my circumstances, my risk of heart attack over the next 10 years is 20%. Sure it's a rough guess, but it's a start. More importantly, I can get the risk down to 10% or less; and know when I'm there. If you are middle aged, you need this book.
