this books are a collection of very intersting facts and experiences.
it is easy and sometimes even funny to read, since you can find many different stories related to food. Even the scientific parts are written in a everyday lamguage for everyone to understand.
I expected more of a dictionary type book, but now I am pleasantly surprised by this entertaining and informative lecture.
The books are very heavy though and too big for keeping them on my desk.

If you are interested in the work of Don Tolman and thinking about to buy the FDR Book, this is a good alternative, first step to get a bit of the taste of the style and the kind of information, knowledge Don is preaching.
I am personally seriously thinking to switch to a full raw food diet, and that is how I stumbled across this book. On top there are a lot of interesting but also "disruptive, out of the box" theories presented in this book, starting from time travel to the healing power of certain frequencies and sounds and many more!
From the Brains 101 there are some essential chapters missing, and I could not find them in a Kindle format ... I thought the Brains 101 e-book will contain this piece of information (another book you can buy for the Kindle) however to my biggest dissapontment this one was the same way incomplete ...
That is actually one negative for the Kindle editions, but also for the big FDR Book: lots of great information but presented sometimes in a chaotic way (chapters half finished ... key information missing ... broken links to non existent websites) as if the whole thing was copied and pasted together in a hurry, un-edited.
Still 5 Starts for the great information this book contains!
