Very accurate in describing common English language errors.

This is a fun book to read whether you are a proper English language fanatic or someone who abuses the language with everyday errors. The examples are perfect because we hear and read them all the time. But we may not realize our mistakes. This book helps us to become aware of our misuse of language. I love the part that exposes the apostrophe misuse. It's like we are lemmings unknowingly committing the same blunder everytime!!

I know, I'm as shocked as anyone (even as a fellow stickler). Truss' take on grammar and the way it's deteriorating is entertaining and warrants an LOL. (Oh, wait, that's text talk. Sorry.)

Ordered around the 13th of December, and it didn't arrive until 24th December- a bit of a panic for me, but I think the delay was due to it being Christmas, and the weather across the country. I ordered two copies, one as a gift and one for me. When they arrived, one was in pristine condition, and the other was a little banged up- the pages were all fine, just the cover looked like it had been thrown around a few times. A little disappointing but I kept it for myself- the book is wonderful, very funny!
