Others have already said it, but it bears repeating, this is a phenomenal collection of private photos showing the aftermath of "The Battle of the Bulge" in regards to the Liebstandarte. I've never seen these photos before and they are incredibly reproduced in a very large format on each page. If you want the absolute best look at the armor that Kampfgruppe Peiper used, I cannot think of any other book that's ever illustrated it so well.
Better still, almost all of the tanks and armored vehicles illustrated have detailed captions right down to who their commander was, often stating when and how they were knocked out. There are fantastic accounts of the battle from numerous German veterans, some of which were written shortly after the war, so the incidents were still very fresh in their minds. There are also some modern "then and now" photos of the battlefield which are very interesting, and a few modern panoramic shots in color with certain areas pointed out to show you just where the actions you're looking at occurred - it's phenomenally well done!
I cannot recommend this one highly enough, if you're an enthusiast of German armor in WWII, this is about as good as it can get.
