Jonathan is a solicitor en route to Transylvania to advise Count Dracula. Instead, he becomes his prisoner and falls under the spell of "The Sisters" - three female vampires. He escapes and flees to England. Shortly afterward, a Russian ship runs aground with a strange cargo from Transylvania.
This 140-page novella involves an Englishman in Munich, Germany before a trip to Transylvania. The novella was originally part of the Dracula manuscript but publishers cut it out of the original edition.
