There is No Magic Formula for Doing What You Love -- Only This

Doing what you love can feel like an insurmountable task.

You don't know where to start. You're afraid of making mistakes. And you think you don't have the right resources.

Even when you get started, you run into fears and roadblocks.

On top of that, you read conflicting information about whether or not you should follow your bliss, your joy, your passion.

It all gets confusing fast.

But in the end, the answer resides within you. You are the expert on your life, which means you need to uncover your own path.

The truth is that you don't have to make radical, and often impractical changes. You can start with what you have, where you are, right now.

How you do that is exactly what you'll learn in this book.

Uncover the Truth About Doing What You Love

In this book, Henri Junttila shares his journey to doing what he loves. He's been making a living doing work he loves since 2009. He has helped hundreds of others do the same.

  2. How to deal with having too many ideas

  3. Learning to overcome the fear of failure

  4. Why you can never waste time (even if you make mistakes)

  5. How your thinking holds you back from the life of your dreams

  6. What to do when you don't feel like you have anything special to offer

This book is an easy to read reality check that really opened my mind as to what thoughts I'm occupied with daily. Everything in this book has been written and said by great people before, but for Henri to put it altogether in something that can be digested in one sitting has (for me) a longer lasting impression. Read this book, if anything it will make you re-evaluate if your current life is inline with your heart and passion.

5.0 von 5 Sternen True wisdom from the heart 23. Juli 2014

What a heart-warming little book, written from the heart and goes straight into the reader's heart. The author talks in a calming and friendly voice and walks you through the process of finding what you love to do. I enjoyed his down to earth perspective, such a refreshing contrast to all of the hype, formulas, and magic 10 step systems offered in this field of self-help. Most of all, reading the book reminded me
1. Why holding yourself back from doing something you love is absurd
2. How to identify your passions (hint: go with what feels magnetic)
3. How not to listen to your fears, and put yourself out there
4. How to find your own creative voice
5. Dealing with unsupportive people in your life
6. Why synchronicity is a sign you're on the right pass, and how to make the most of it
7. How trying to live life only through our logic parts, and trying to make the perfect decisions, creates a mess and unnecessary problems

ALWAYS love what Henri writes. This book is NO exception. If you're confused about finding your path in life, I highly recommend this book -- or any of his books for that matter. Well organized and written from the heart.

5.0 von 5 Sternen A Simple Primer for Taking Effective Action 17. Juli 2014
Von Michael S. Bell - Veröffentlicht auf Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition|Verifizierter Kauf
Henri Junttila 's "Do What You Love" contains 17 well-written essays that flow nicely from one to the next.

He starts by recognizing that the hardest part of doing what you love can sometimes be figuring out what that means. Nevertheless, a few sections into the book, we find that we have started our journey nonetheless with the path becoming ever more visible.

There are certainly references to concepts like being open to "The Universe" and honoring your inner wisdom, so if these types of ideas are a turn off, than this book is probably not for you. However, Henri draws from his own experience to give context for these comments.

Ultimately, the book is about understanding the profound difference between what is actually possible versus the possibility we struggle to see before we have grown into it. And it is often our own thoughts that conspire to hold us back--but only if we let them. He helps us understand how to move forward even when the path is unclear and how to recognize wisdom when it arrives to assist us.

Henri has a gift for rendering profound wisdom in a simple and straightforward way, and I found this book to be just the guidance I needed on the very day I needed it. Perhaps it was good timing but I suspect it was due to the timeless nature of the work itself.

5.0 von 5 Sternen There's an intersection between what you love and what others will pay you for. This book will help you find it. 19. Juli 2014

I really enjoyed this book for a few reasons. First, I built my own business over the last fifteen years in spite of all the advice, programs and formulas I came across over the years. I say, "In spite of," because I learned through experience that success can't be secured by following a specific point by point "recipe." Recipes work great in a kitchen or a lab where all the variables are controlled by the individual... but life itself is much different. We each face obstacles, challenges, and variables that are unique to our circumstances, situations and personalities. This book will help the reader find their own path instead of the frustrating pursuit of trying to do exactly what others have done before them.
