The Eyewitness guide gives some really bad information, although the photos are nice. Some examples:
1. The Magic Kingdom plan recommends taking the train to the Fantasyland station but there isn't a Fantasyland Station. This is just plain wrong.
2. They recommend going to the Magic Kingdom arcade in the morning - the first two hours after park opening is the least crowded time of the day; why would you go to a video arcade and plug quarters into the machine, rather than ride the attractions you already paid to experience when you dropped a pile of cash on a Disney theme park ticket? Bad advice.
3. They advise riding Dumbo mid-day - this is HORRIBLE advice. Fantasyland is hot and crowded mid-day. Visit Fantasyland first thing in the morning.
4. It's a 2010 book but they still recommend the "Hydrolaters" in the seas pavilion, they have been gone since 2006, maybe longer. Again, more wrong info.
5. They still recommend Body Wars & Cranium Command, though both of these attractions have been closed for several years. (Epcot)
6. Disney's Hollywood Studios - they don't even mention Toy Story Midway Mania, which is one of the most popular attractions in this park.
Though some of the descriptions are accurate and the photos are nice, you can get much better information elsewhere. Spend your money on the newest Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World instead - you'll be glad you did.
