At the beginning of this book I really doubted that I would like it, as I read it became okay and then during the end it seemed a very good book. But I can't give Chris Pierson (no relation) five stars for a few reasons. One, the title of this book should have been 'a quest in which Dezra is involved' because she was not the main character. Two, Dezra herself seemed to be too much like Kitiara for me to give the author credit for making Dezra into his own character.
But other than those points this was a great book. Pierson (no relation) did one of the best jobs writing Caramon that I have seen and the other characters developed nicely as the story continued. And of course there was humor in this book, which never hurts in a Dragonlance book.
This may not be a must read book, but it is a should read book, dive into it when you get the time.

I thought this book was a great book it had vivid verbs that got you hook onto the book and it seemed like you were atually there in the story. The bad part about the book was that Chris Pierson would go into detail on the guys die and what they look like when they died.I also thought this book was a good book on the wars with the centaurs

The plot in this book was fast paced, with good, descriptive battle scenes. The characters were well developed over the book. Dezra developed from an immature rebellious teen, into a young woman who could turn out to be good or evil. Caramon was portrayed with great realism and fitted into the storyline well. The centaurs and other species who played a part in this book were also interesting. Overall, the book built up to a great climax which didn't disappoint. I look forward to seeing more of Dezra in the future.

Great charcters, predictible and simple story

Lacking in so many ways.
This has to be the worst Dragonlance book I have ever read(and I've read them all).
