Tolles e-book. Und selbst ich habe den Inhalt verstanden, obwohl ich nicht perfekt Englisch spreche. Viele der Inhalte waren mir zwar bekannt, aber es war dennoch schön zum "Auffrischen".

In Today's ADD Infected World, This Book is a Must Buy! 27. Oktober 2011
Von Teresa Mustelier - Veröffentlicht auf Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition
I have the Inattentive type of ADD. This book has been so helpful for me but my sister who does not have ADD has found it helpful as well. People with and without ADHD must often de-clutter both their houses and their brains to get a semblance of an orderly life.

I may be wrong about this but I think that when you have ADHD, you cannot process information efficiently when your environment is a mess. I think that when your desk, your car, and your house are big cluttered, disorganized ADHD disaster areas, thinking is impossible. This is where this book comes in. The 'minimalist' concepts described in this book make organizing your life, your car, your brain... doable.

Ok, maybe there are people who thrive in a mess but I am willing to bet that most people with do not. The reason that I think this way is that my thinking process is much better since organized my home, my workplace, my car and my desk.

I now sometimes get home and before I can answer phone calls, questions from my children or my spouse, cook dinner or accomplish anything, I must de-clutter and pick up the house. I must de-clutter my house so that I can think with my brain. If the house is a total disorganized mess, I simply cannot think about anything else.

If you are like me, get this book. My goodness, it is so cheap that anyone can afford it and EVERYONE needs it!!

Would have been a fine magazine article, but not a book. 31. Januar 2012
Von ReaderAbi - Veröffentlicht auf Amazon.com

This would have been a great magazine article, with lots of tips that are general and common sense, but a book it does not make. The author hints at deep issues in the first three chapters, like the biological predisposition to hoard material items to ensure survival and the beginnings of very insightful categories of hoarders. Sadly, she brushes aside these issues as if overcoming them is only a matter of acknowledging them and then proceeded to give the reader a contrite list of garbage information. Buy 2-in-1 shampoo? Is this really a solution to the deep rooted psychological fears about loss and survival highlighted in the initial chapters? I can't decide if the author chickened out and didn't have the guts to write the book she really wanted to or if she googled hoarding and inserted "psychobabble" she had no real knowledge of.
This is why I say it would be a great feature article in a magazine. It touches on the general topic but doesn't offer any real solutions to the emotional component that underlies the problem. If getting organized is your problem, this book will be fine. If you actually have problems letting "things" go, this book offers nothing in the way of insight or advice.

Not helpful at all 2. Januar 2012
Von Nursing Mom - Veröffentlicht auf Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition|Von Amazon bestätigter Kauf
This book contains virtually no information that a reasonable person hasn't already thought of. The writing is poor; I had to guess several times what the author intended (not too difficult because the content was so obvious, but definitely annoying). Several typos were also distracting.

If you have even reasonable ideas of what it means to get rid of excess stuff in your home and life, you really don't need this book.
