Summary:
Norah Johnson is at a crossroads and is in desperate need to heal after a highly publicized breakup from her major league baseball player boyfriend. To escape, she moves to her summer home at the beach with her sister and best friend where she journals, attends therapy and works on her pending clothing line. When a gorgeous stranger finds her lost journal, he seeks to find the author and make her fall in love with him. But is Norah ready to love again?

Norah Johnson has everything going for her – a fabulous life; a chance-of-a-life-time, career-thrusting opportunity; a well-to-do supportive family, great style and fabulous friends. But everything comes crashing down around her after the discovery that her college-sweetheart-turned-mega-baseball-superstar boyfriend, Truett Jackson, cheated on her during her Mulan fashion internship. Not only did he cheat, but now his attention-prone-wanna-be-Megan Fox-look-alike actress girlfriend is pregnant with his child – or at least as far as he knows, it’s his child; and consequently, he is now marrying her.
Upon such revelation, Norah endures a heart-breaking confrontation the night before Truett’s wedding that causes her life to spiral downhill into a despair she’s never known. But hey! Girls with great ambition and great fashion sense cannot afford to stay down for too long. But, wait, how can one heal after such heartbreak? Does one ever?
Norah has to learn how to heal and move forward with her life so she can produce her last final fashion pieces in order to appease her financial backer and, thus, be on her way to opening her dream boutique.
But just how fast can a heart really heal? And does one ever heal after such devastating news? Well, it sure helps when part of the healing process involves living in a fabulous summer home on the beach with your sister and absolute BFF. And then there’s the hottie, much older version of Taylor Lautner look-alike who finds your lost journal, reads it and falls madly in love with you, “the you on paper”, and is set on finding you and making you fall in love with him.
