I ordered this watch for Christmas and the delivery by Amazon was extremely fast. Unfortunately this is the only good point concerning this order.
It is the second time I have to send it back since Christmas. That is, in one week. I am currently waiting for a third, and last, replacement. And I am still hoping I can get one which works properly.
The first watch I got was not starting at all. It simply happens with automatics, as the tiniest misalignement in the watch making will cause the balancing system not to start the oscillation. And that was completely fine with me. Apart for this detail, the watch was up to my expectations. The design is as advertised and really eye-appealing, details of the watch and the leather band are very good for the price. The packaging was also very nice.
I am fine with one mistake. But TWO ?
The second watch was delivered as promptly as the first one. First things striking me is that the packet had been reconditioned, I mean the Amazon packet itself. There is first time for everything, so I still open it. As far as I care, the seal - which is the DHL delivery sticker with the bar codes - is still in place, so it could be simple reuse of the boxes. But what was not my surprise when I discover a watch with a huge scratch on the side, near the small button (the one for changing the week day), button which is OBVIOUSLY stuck inside the watch. This really feels like someone already sent this watch back due to this specific problem and the watch was simply reconditioned without any care and sent back to a new customer. Me. On top of that, the packaging was not as nice as the first one. Where is the consistency ? Oh, right, both watches didn't work properly, that's consistent.
I will wait for the third replacement without much hope.
