As with other Complete Idiot guides, you'll probably want to turn this one backwards in your bookcase, or at least get a book cover for it. But get past the silly title and you'll find a plethora of facts, tips, and tricks on topics including sexual response, masturbation, foreplay, afterplay, oral sex, fantasy, sex toys, sexual preference, cross-dressing, and "The Big Om": tantric sex.
The margin notes liberally decorating the book are worth a hearty chuckle. The "Sextistics" are particularly fun and eye-opening. Some examples: only 9 percent of people surveyed believe sex appeal is innate; the rest feel it can be acquired!; about 7 percent of women have never climaxed; the majority of male crossdressers are married with children; and, according to the Hite Report, nearly 60 percent of men ages 61 to 75 said their desire for sex remained steady or increased with age, Viagra or no.
Locker, a sex educator and WCBS-TV relationship correspondent, has been a sex educator for more than a decade. That said, she should have placed the facts on contraceptives and sexually transmitted diseases earlier in the book, before the hot and heavy photographs of sexual positions. I bought this book for my younger brother who was getting embarrassed asking me questions. I flipped through a number of similar titles at the bookstore, trying to choose the best one. This book is detailed, yet tasteful, educational, yet light. I read a good deal of it, and I can't say I learned much, but it is a great book for beginners.

If you are looking for a sex book that covers every topic really well and in detail, then this is the book. Other books that try to cover a lot of ground are not as good. Even the Dummy guide is not at all as good as this Idiot guide, and The Joy of Sex is bad compared with this book, too, because this book covers much more detailed information about all aspects of improving your sex life. This book is great by giving important details about sex, and it is funny at times, too, which sex should be. The pictures are sexy with out going too far. This is the best sex book to learn a lot and to get a more creative sex life. It would even make a good gift, because the title seems like a gag gift, but inside the contents are so great that anyone will learn from it and be grateful. If you want the best sex book get this.

Its worth buying and reading but I expected more. This but would be for a begginer really if you looking for someing with very deatailed information this isn't the book for you but this is a great book to start off from
