I have always bought curry paste, as I do not have all the ingredients to make it at home. I use this yellow curry paste as a base to make potatoe curry. It gives the taste we associate with Thai cooking. You can stir fry yellow curry paste with soybean oil then add a cup of coconut milk. Add desired meat and coconut milk and continue heating until comes to a boil. Add potatoes and onions and water and cook until the vegetables soften. I heard that compared to the other curries, yellow curry paste is mild, but at the same time the most fragrant one. This Thai yellow curry paste is quite hot and very tasty.
