That Stephenson is relyl good at spinning a yarn I knew, so I bought the book on an impulse. And I have not been disappointed.
That bureaucracy can take on weird faces I knew, but it is really well laid out here. Of course the CIA, FBI and other US federal agency lend themselves to criticism, but this story sounds as if it could have happened.
Well some of the overall story is not very convincing, there are just too many accidental connections. But then the book only contains 360 pages and we have an ending of sorts.
And I have had a few good laughs and have been entertained very well.
