I first read Don's book years ago when expecting child #8. Even though I had a degree in home economics and knew the basics of household organization, I didn't realize that simply having 'too much' could strangle our existence. Clutter's Last Stand gave me the courage to separate what I need, from what can't love me back. I am now surrounded by meaningful relationships instead of things to sort, hang, shelve, stack and tend. I have re-read this book several times just for the uplift and inspiration of his message--and I've given it as a gift dozens of times. Not a good book for the escapist, faint-hearted or person who loves things more than people.
