I have been in a reading funk lately so I recently switched back over to Young Adult romances, as I often do when I get bored with adult romances. I decided to give this book a shot since it was offered for free, and I'm really glad I did.
Adam Grayson was turned into a werewolf against his will at the age of eighteen. He rejected his new life and the monster that created him and set out on the run. Moving from place to place, he decides on a small town in Georgia, not knowing that a shy girl was about to change his world.
Ivy Miller lives with her mom and leads a pretty dull life with her best friend until the handsome Adam shows up. There is an instant connection between Ivy and Adam that neither can understand but both are unable to deny. After Adam rejects one of the "popular" girls for Ivy, the scorned girl unknowingly sets events in motion that might forever tear Adam and Ivy apart.
There were a few unexpected twists that helped keep this story exciting and new. I have to admit I was starting to grow tired of paranormal books (with the exception of Kresley Cole), but this book made me like werewolves again. The book was also very well-written and edited, which surprised me because I don't find that too often in free books.
