Wer den fünften ST-Film mag, wird an diesem Ende seinen Gefallen finden. Fehlendes Sendungsbewusstsein kann man Mr. Shatner hier nicht vorwerfen. Obwohl dann eigentlich die falsche Figur in diesem Roman den Namen Joseph trägt.
Bis zu diesem Zeitpunkt der Einführung der religösen Thematik ist der Roman durchaus interessant, aber ab dann muss man wohl eine Vorliebe für solche Stoffe haben um wirklich uneingeschränktes Vergnügen an diesem Buch zu haben.

Once again, I am sorry to say I was disappointed by this book. Others may find it great I found it lame.
Having ready most all of the books in the Star Trek series I have noticed a sad development in these books . The stories are growing thinner and thinner and this book is no exception.
If you are looking for a read to pass the time and dont care about the story, then this is the book for you, but do yourself a favour and wait for the paperback to come out and save yourself some money.
