As a little boy, my most treasured possession was a huge Paddington bear with his red hat and blue felt coat. I took him everywhere and he was my best friend. That was 25 years ago (or more). Now that I am 32 years old, the nostalgia returned when I saw the book "A Bear Called Paddington" on Amazon and I just had to buy it. As soon as I started reading it, I was suddenly that 5 year old innocent little boy again.
The book is quite short so it is a nice little book to read in an afternoon. The illustrations are absolutely beautiful and touching, and I guarantee you will be smiling and laughing at each little escapade that Paddington gets himself into.
This is a book that I will pass to my children one day. I can't recommend Paddington bear enough. Oh and if you see my big Paddington sitting on a suitcase at the Bahnhof, will you send him home? Tell him I'm waiting for him!
